Taşbaşi Church and Violet Street

The church was built in the east-west direction in a rectangular style. There is a large apse in the east and two small apses on the sides. The main space of the church is divided into three naves with three columns in two rows. The semardam roof of the church is carried by arches supported by columns. It is a basilica-shaped building made entirely of cut stone (except the dome), which has survived until today. It was built in 1853 by Orthodox Christians living in the region. Since April 10, 2000, it has been used as a cultural center (multi-purpose hall).
