It is a 1st degree archaeological and natural protected area built on a pointed rock within the borders of Bayadi Village, 13 kilometers from the city center, and is an ancient settlement. 250 - 300 stairs were unearthed. The terracotta roof tiles, masonry ceramic fragments found during the excavation were analyzed and it was determined that the settlement was inhabited in the second and first centuries BC. Archaeological excavations were carried out by the Governorship of Ordu and the Directorate of Museum in 2010 and 2011. This is the first archaeological excavation area in the Black Sea Region. As a result of the excavations, temples and castle walls dating back 3000 years were found. In 2012, excavations continued. “Excavation House” was put into service to be used in archaeological excavations.
Yoroz City Forest, located within the borders of Saraycik Town, is 20 km from the center of Ordu. Most of the road is asphalt, the rest is stabilized and it is famous for its rich forests and viewing terrace. It is rich in flora and fauna, and all the necessary arrangements for sightseeing and picnics in the urban forest have been made by the Directorate of Environment and Forestry.
